 The next step (leap?!) in media ministry for many-a congregation is the addition of in-sanctuary videotaping via 2, 3 or more cameras for the purpose of IMAG (Image Magnification), recording/distribution, broadcast or all of the above. It’s hard to dispute the powerful ministry potential of such an investment (when purchased and used properly) but it’s also hard to deny the importance of researching and evaluating the various related facets and technologies of such an investment. Fortunately this class is designed to help you do just that: move forward into this exciting aspect of media ministry with your eyes (and iris) wide open to the realities of multi-camera videotaping regardless of the size and shape of both your “body” or budget. The addition of video cameras to your ministry need not remain the overwhelming process it may be perceived to be to you, your technical team or church leadership teams. And it certainly doesn’t mean you need to turn your worship service into a production studio full of distracting technology.
