 To take a line from an old song; “The music goes round and round and it comes out…” Where? What does it go round and round in? Well as far as we’re concerned, that would be the mixing console and it does just what the song says (and the name implies). The current crop of consoles help you mix, route, equalize (sounds like something that you’d see on late-nite TV from Popeil) the sound. And many have on-board effects and dynamics processing to add to their utility and functionality.
