 All microphones are not created equal. While one mic might work well as a handheld vocal mic, it might not work as well when micing the choir. Do you know what the terms Cardioid, Hyper-Cardioid, Omni and Figure-8 mean? These all describe typical pick up or coverage patterns for microphones. This course gives you the background to help choose the patterns that can serve you best for your worship service. We provide information on the pick up patterns themselves and then, recommendations on the kinds of patterns that are appropriate for a particular application. |
